Keep your footing
A storm is breaking over the gorge, and the academy’s entrance trial won’t wait for it to pass. Run the length of a narrow, crumbling stone wall high above the valley and reach the tower at the far end. A retro side-scroller where, unlike most runners, you set the pace.
- Balance is your health. Every knock pushes you toward an edge. Keep a steady stride and you drift back to the middle.
- Find the stride. Too slow and the wind shoves you back; too fast and you slide on wet stone.
- The wall fights back: gaps to leap, ledges that crumble, bats at head height, and rival cadets who want you off the wall.
